LEGO - Triple Fun
The name LEGO is derived from the Danish leg godt (“play well”), and reflects their mission: to inspire creative imagination and discovery through play.

One of LEGO's collections is the Creator 3-in-1™ series which allows builders to create three different models from the same set of bricks. The target group for this series is children aged 6–12.

was to show the versatility of the 3-in-1 set and capture the imagination of children, showing how they might invent stories and adventures while playing with LEGO.

To achieve this, it was decided to create an animation featuring unboxing the set, assembly and disassembly of the models, dynamic character movements, and interaction between them.
The goal
Creative Process
Storyboarding & Concept Development
1
Developing a storyline and planning how characters would meet, react, and transform, including all sequences.
Production
2
Filming resulted in over 800 frames. Each shot was built using a traditional stop-motion technique, brick by brick, to ensure natural and fluid animation.
Post-Production
3
Assembling the frames into one sequence, removing unwanted artifacts, adding digital animations, and lastly applying sound design.
Outcome
The result is a 30-second hybrid (stop-motion & digital) animation, perfectly suited for the target audience.

By combining stop motion and digital techniques, we blended the real (LEGO bricks themselves) with the imaginative (the environments around each model), capturing the play experience.

Beyond its creative value, the video is ready for use across a variety of digital platforms – from online ads (YouTube, web banners) to a highlight showcase piece featured on the official website to help boost sales.
