Barilla - Sign of Love
The goal of this case study is to explore the ways stop motion animation can be used in the food industry. For this project, we chose to create an animated ad for an Italian food company Barilla.

Guided by one of their slogans “A Sign of Love,” Barilla celebrates the idea that cooking for someone can be an expression of care.
The mission is to connect the brand’s two core products - pasta and sauces - in a meaningful and memorable way, featuring their “A Sign of Love” slogan.

Developing storylines, creating sketches for each animation.

Preparing props and shooting the video using
stop motion technique.

Post - Production

Editing the footage, applying masking and special effects, and designing the sound to enhance the story.
Outcome
A vertical stop-motion animation tailored for social media (reels). Dynamic and vibrant, it showcased the product while naturally including the “A Sign of Love” slogan in a way that felt authentic and successfully conveyed the values of the brand.
